Hien Khong

I am a physics graduate student in Kansas State University. My research has been focusing on physics education research where I am interested in examining ways of students approaching physics concepts as well as how physics has been delivered to students through curriculums, pedagogy, and the physics departmental culture.

There are more details of my research at Research .

I graduated from the HCMC University of Education, Vietnam with a Bachelor in physics. With my background back in Vietnam, I was meant to becoming a high school physics teacher. After graduation, I decided to move to the US to continue my higher education through which could help me to become a "good teacher". I started doing research in education since my first year in grad school, and I have loved it.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching Youtube videos that ask big questions about the universe, the existence of time and beings, and connect physics with philosophy, theology, and psychology.
